Open Enrollment for the 17/18 School Year
2017/18 Enrollment opens January 24, 2017 and closes February 24, 2017. All applications received after this will place your student on the wait list.
Step One: apply on Aspire.Schoolmint.net before February 24, 2017.
Step Two: Enrollment Lottery held on March 3, 2017.
Step Three: Lottery results are sent electronically March 6, 2017.
Step Four: If your child is offered a position, accept offer on SchoolMint before March 10, 2017.
Step Five: You will receive a registration packet in the mail. This packet needs to be completed and returned to the office by April 1, 2017.
Step Six: Kinder/TK assessments will take place late summer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q:Is my child guaranteed a position if I apply within this period?
A: Unfortunately we do not have enough positions available for all of our students that apply. Therefore once we have filled our available positions via the lottery we then move forward to place the wait list. Your applying during this period only guarantees that they will be placed in the lottery.
Q: How will I receive my results?
A: They will be sent electronically using Schoolmint. Please be sure to check your email and phone messages frequently.
Q: Is my child old enough for kinder?
A: Children with birthdays between 9/2/11 and 9/1/12 are eligible for Kinder. Children born between 9/2/12 and 12/2/12 would be eligible for Transitional Kinder. Children who are not turning 5 years old until 12/3/17 or later, are too young to attend Kinder or TK this year.
Q: What immunizations are required for school entrance in the 16/17 school year?
